t for tiger: downstroke and crossbar
Colour the tiger and explore the short t sound. A start point and separate crossbar model support lowercase t tracing, with space for independent letters and optional tiger copying.
FIVE WAYS TO TRY ONE LETTER
A tiger begins a five-page set about lowercase t. Draw its tall stroke and separate crossbar, compare f and l, name a tap, ten counted objects and a spinning toy top, then colour the tiger watching the top.
One activity per page, in the order below. Choose the PDF for your A4 or US Letter paper. There is no cover or blank page.

Colour the tiger and explore the short t sound. A start point and separate crossbar model support lowercase t tracing, with space for independent letters and optional tiger copying.

Follow a large lowercase t beside the tiger. An adult can model the movement before finger tracing and a few pencil attempts. Whole-word copying is optional.

Find six lowercase t letters among f and l. Compare their shapes before circling the matches, tracing and trying a few letters on the guides.

Name tap, ten, top with an adult and find the first written t in each label. The pictures support talk; tracing or whole-word copying is optional and adult-supported.

Colour tiger with a top and practise lowercase t. Name tiger and top together; copying either word is optional with an adult.
Begin high and draw the main stroke down. Lift the pencil before adding a short line across. The large movement makes both actions visible; tracing a few t letters is enough.
The finding page includes f and l. Look for t's separate crossing line: l has none, while f curves differently at the top. Find six t shapes with an adult before moving to the little words.
The tap picture shows a water faucet; top means the spinning toy, not a position. Count exactly ten pictured objects together before pointing to t in ten. The scene offers a tiger and toy to colour, while copying their labels stays optional.
For uppercase and lowercase together, try the Tt alphabet colouring and tracing sheet. These five activities focus on lowercase t, including tap, ten, top. See printing and paper-size help when choosing a PDF.
