Our little library
CrayonOtter is a small library of original printable colouring pages, owned by Dan. It is for the moment when someone at the table asks for a picture to colour. Choose a drawing together, match the paper size to your printer and make a copy. All you need to add is your own colours.
The shelf holds garden and Halloween fairies, two fairy houses, three friendly dinosaurs, a river otter, an original spider hero and all 26 alphabet letters. You can see each whole drawing before choosing it, including the smaller details around the edges. There is no account to create, and the sheets are free to print for your household or classroom. Donations are optional.
A picture for your crayons
Some pages have broad spaces for a favourite colour; others leave room for little decisions about leaves, spots and petals. The triceratops stands among daisies, the long-necked dinosaur meets a butterfly, and the stegosaurus has a rainbow overhead. Our otter floats among reeds and lily pads.
Let the person doing the colouring choose what looks enjoyable. A purple dinosaur or a rainbow-coloured river belongs on the page just as much as any other choice. You can leave the background white, add your own patterns or draw something new in an open space. There is no finished example to copy and no right colour scheme.
From the shelf to the table
Open a picture and choose A4 or US Letter to match the paper you have. Download PDF saves a one-page file that you can keep and open again. Print this page opens your browser’s print controls, where you choose the printer and number of copies. Use portrait orientation and check that the printer settings show the same paper size.
The drawing keeps its proportions, with white space around it. Printer settings can still affect the result, so check the preview before printing several copies. If the browser’s print controls are unfamiliar, save the PDF and open it in your usual PDF reader. Our printing and use guide explains the choices and permission to use the sheets.
Our alphabet collection offers one letter per sheet, a seven-sheet pack and a one-page reference. Letters and tracing guides are typeset separately from the AI-assisted pictures. The Friendly Spider Hero has an original hooded costume and three playful poses.
At home and in class
A parent might put a few pages beside the crayons for an afternoon activity. A teacher can let pupils choose different pictures or print the same drawing for a shared table. Print one copy first if you want to check how the outlines look on your paper. Please use these pages for household or classroom activities; the permission does not include selling the files or republishing them as your own collection.
How the artwork is made
These illustrations were created with AI assistance from prompts written for CrayonOtter. They were made for this library, without using competitor drawings or franchise characters as source artwork. The artwork policy describes our approach.
The dinosaurs are imaginative characters, not scientific reconstructions. The pictures are colouring activities, with no claims about learning outcomes or suitability for a particular age. Parents and teachers can judge the details for the person who will use the sheet.
Start with the fairies and fairy houses, explore the dinosaur shelf or visit the river otter. Adults can use feedback to describe a problem; its form shows whether sending is available. Please leave children’s names and personal details out of messages.
